Linda Anderson Receives Second Place at La Conner Show!
Congratulations
to Linda Anderson for her Second Place Award in Abstract Pictorial at the 2014
International Juried Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival at La Conner Quilt and
Textile Museum in La Conner, Washington. This is the beautiful fiber art piece that was in the show. It is titled "Where We Met".

Linda Anderson's Art on Display at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center
Beyond
the Edge’s Linda Anderson will be one of ten contemporary art quilters invited
to display 2 pieces at Anaheim Muzeo Cultural Center, hosted by the University
of Nebraska study quilt center. This exhibit will juxtapose antique quilts from
circa 1850-1940 with today's art quilts.

Mapping Out!
Quilts
on the Wall's "Maps" Exhibit will be on display with Ellen November's
cartographic themed fiber art at the Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes
Estates.
Beyond the Edge Artists Linda Anderson, Laura Bisagna, Linda Friedman, jo p. griffith, and Eileen Wintemute have fiber art pieces in this show. Eileen Wintemute’s California misson themed piece is shown on the far left of the post card below,
The
artist's reception is November 8th, from 2;30 pm to 5 pm. The show runs from
November 1st through 29th. Additional exhibit information is shown below. It
