Beyond the Edge's exhibit entitled "My Inner Self-Portrait" will be at Mancuso's Quiltfest Destination Savannah show this weekend, March 26 through 29. This show will be at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center located at One International Drive, Savannah, Georgia. We hope you have a chance to see this show.

"Becoming Me"

This is Mia Bloom's fiber art piece entitled "Becoming Me". It is part of Beyond the Edge's traveling exhibit entitled "My Inner Self Portrait".

Here is her Artist Statement:

This piece is a part of the “Peel Away The Layers” series that I started when I was approaching my 50th birthday.  I realized that I was peeling away the layers to become the woman that I am today. Underneath the layers is a slightly wonky, colorful woman.

"Invisible"

Laura Bisagna created this fiber art piece for Beyond the Edge's "My Inner Self Portrait" exhibit. This exhibit will be shown next in New Jersey at Mancuso's Quiltfest of New Jersey from March 5 through 8. This show is held at the Garden State Exhibit Center, 50 Atrium Drive, Somerset, New Jersey. We hope you have a chance to see the exhibit.
