A New Exhibit at PIQF
Beyond the Edge Artists is proud to announce a new exhibit, "Between Heaven and Earth", debuting at the Pacific International Quilt Festival in Santa Clara, California. The festival will run from October 14 - 17, 2021.
This exhibit will include several pieces inspired by the theme "Between Heaven and Earth". Each artist was asked to interpret the theme and create fiber art pieces based on that interpretation. The theme “Between Heaven and Earth” was selected as a tribute to our dear friend, Linda Friedman. Linda was a member of Beyond the Edge Fiber Artists until her passing in 2019. She often created art pieces depicting birds and used the title “Between Heaven and Earth” for one of her pieces. This exhibit is our way of remembering her and continuing her legacy in our group.
